24 сентября 2024 года в Российском университете дружбы народов имени Патриса Лумумбы (РУДН) состоялся II Международный молодежный форум БРИКС+ «Спортивная дипломатия: контуры многополярного мира». Событие собрало более 300 молодых представителей из 57 стран мира, став площадкой для диалога, обмена опытом и обсуждения актуальных вопросов спортивной дипломатии в условиях становления многополярного мира.
Форум был организован при поддержке Содружества спортивной дипломатии РУДН, Проектного офиса международного молодежного сотрудничества по направлению «Россия – БРИКС», Спорт общества «Россия» и Ассамблеи народов Евразии и Африки. В рамках форума участники обсудили роль спортивной дипломатии в укреплении международного сотрудничества и доверия между странами, а также необходимость создания международной площадки для взаимодействия молодых специалистов в сфере спорта, дипломатов, экспертов и общественных деятелей. Важность события подчеркнул депутат Государственной Думы, заместитель председателя Комитета Госдумы по физической культуре и спорту Сергей Бурлаков, отметив, что форум является важным шагом в развитии молодежной дипломатии.
II Международный молодежный форум БРИКС+ «Спортивная дипломатия: контуры многополярного мира» стал продолжением Молодежного саммита БРИКС, прошедшего в Ульяновске в июле 2024 года, где также была поднята спортивная тематика.
Участники форума уверены, что подобные мероприятия – это важный шаг в развитии международного сотрудничества, позволяющий молодым специалистам активно участвовать в формировании глобальной повестки.
Важную роль в успехе мероприятия сыграли наши талантливые коллеги: Ассистенты кафедры иностранных языков Медицинского института Аурика Шавтикова и Анна Бобунова. Благодаря их профессионализму, участники мероприятия смогли свободно общаться и понимать друг друга, используя синхронный перевод.
Форум БРИКС+ «Спортивная дипломатия: контуры многополярного мира» — это яркий пример того, как спорт может объединять людей разных культур и национальностей, способствуя взаимопониманию и сотрудничеству.
RUDN hosted the II BRICS+ International Youth Forum “Sports Diplomacy: Contours of a Multipolar World”.
On September 24, 2024 the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN) hosted the II International BRICS+ Youth Forum “Sports Diplomacy: Contours of a Multipolar World”. The event gathered more than 300 young representatives from 57 countries of the world, becoming a platform for dialog, exchange of experience and discussion of topical issues of sports diplomacy in the context of a multipolar world.
The forum was organized with the support of the PFUR Commonwealth of Sports Diplomacy, the Project Office of International Youth Cooperation in the direction of “Russia — BRICS”, the Sport Society “Russia” and the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia and Africa. During the forum participants discussed the role of sports diplomacy in strengthening international cooperation and trust between countries, as well as the need to create an international platform for interaction between young sports professionals, diplomats, experts and public figures. The importance of the event was emphasized by Sergey Burlakov, State Duma Deputy, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports, who noted that the forum is an important step in the development of youth diplomacy.
The II BRICS+ International Youth Forum “Sports Diplomacy: Contours of a Multipolar World” was a continuation of the BRICS Youth Summit held in Ulyanovsk in July 2024, where sports topics were also raised.
Forum participants are confident that such events are an important step in the development of international cooperation, allowing young professionals to actively participate in shaping the global agenda.
An important role in the success of the event was played by our talented colleagues: Aurika Shavtikova and Anna Bobunova, assistants of the Foreign Languages Department of the Institute of Medicine. Thanks to their professionalism, the participants of the event were able to communicate and understand each other freely using simultaneous interpretation.
The BRICS+ Forum “Sports Diplomacy: Contours of a Multipolar World” is a vivid example of how sports can unite people of different cultures and nationalities, promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
