Roundtable focused on the universal principle «Help or, at least, do no harm»

The Foreign Languages Department of Institute of Medicine organized an inter-university roundtable focused on the universal principle «Help or, at least, do no harm», exploring its practical application at the intersection of three professions: medicine, law, and cosmetology.

With a welcoming address to the participants of the round table, Natalia Dugalich, the head of the department, emphasized the importance of the topic and wished the students success in presenting their reports.

Objectives of the Event:

  1. Identify common ethical dilemmas faced by medical professionals and lawyers.
  2. Foster a comprehensive understanding of the legal and ethical implications of actions among future specialists.
  3. Analyze practical cases that necessitate an interdisciplinary approach.
  4. Establish a foundation for professional collaboration among representatives of these fields.

Participants included students from RUDN, law students from MGYuA and Gubkin University, as well as leading cosmetologist Dr. Elena Shepeleva.
