The Foreign Languages Department of Institute of Medicine of RUDN University held an intra-university student roundtable titled «Die Lyrik des jungen Goethe» (The Lyrics of Young Goethe).
The event, conducted entirely in German, brought together 30 students and 2 faculty members via the Yandex Telemost online platform. Organized as part of the university’s educational and extracurricular initiatives, the roundtable focused on the study of the German language for specific, scientific purposes and intercultural communication.
The primary goal of the meeting was to provide students of the Institute of Medicine with a comprehensive understanding of the modern German language through the analysis of classic literary works, fostering essential communication skills for their future professional careers.
The organizers from the Foreign Languages Department of Institute of Medicine emphasized the importance of such interdisciplinary events in developing well-rounded medical professionals with a global outlook.
