Students from the Foreign Languages Department at the RUDN University Institute of Medicine achieved outstanding results at the V All-Russian Competition of Student Scientific, Educational, and Creative Works «Roads to Rome.» The organizing committee announced the results this week. RUDN students demonstrated exceptional performance, securing top places for three out of four submitted entries.
The award-winning projects include:
2nd Place: Elina Isaeva (first-year General medicine) in the «Aenigmata» (Riddles and Crosswords) category. She designed an intricate, engaging crossword puzzle based on classical languages.
3rd Place: Elizaveta Boyko (first-year General medicine) in the «Opus» (Essay) category, focusing on the theme «Omnia mutantur, nihil interit.» Her essay, titled «Primum noli nocere: A Commandment Through the Centuries,» explores the vital role of this medical principle for both historical and modern physicians.
3rd Place: Angelina Nikolaeva and Zara Nozhaeva (first-year General medicine) in the «Pictura sculpturaque» (Illustrations and Sculptures) category. They presented a creative project titled «The Day of a First-Year Medical Student,» skillfully embedding famous Latin idioms such as Repetitio est mater studiorum, Per aspera ad astra, and Gaudeamus igitur into the reality of daily student life.
