26 июля 2023 в преддверии второго саммита «Россия-Африка» состоялся Международный научный форум «Россия-Африка»: диалог молодых ученых».
Организаторами форума выступили Российский университет дружбы народов им. Патриса Лумумбы (РУДН), Санкт-Петербургский государственный электротехнический университет «ЛЭТИ», Российский центр научной информации (РЦНИ). Инициатива поддержана Министерством науки и высшего образования РФ и Российской академией наук.
В форуме приняли участие представители более чем из 40 африканских стран; более 20 академиков и членов-корреспондентов РАН, руководители ведущих научных институтов и организаций, которые являются представителями академического сообщества России.
На площадке РУДН прошли пять тематических сессий, одной из которых была «Медицина».
В секции «Медицина» панельная дискуссия «Иммунология» с докладами выступили:

Тема: «Инновационный препарат на основе технологии малых интерферирующих РНК – МИР-19: результаты клинических исследований»

Тема: «Малярия: оптимизация лечения наиболее уязвимых групп»
В рамках форума состоялись встречи директора МИ РУДН А.Ю. Абрамова с Исайя Нанна Иба, профессором Университета Бенина (Нигерия) и Чинве Кристи Иситья, профессором кафедры биологии и судебной медицины факультета специального назначения Нигерии Адмиралтейского университета (Нигерия).
В ходе визита профессора посетили НИИ молекулярной и клеточной медицины МИ РУДН. Были проведены переговоры с Т.Х. Фатхудиновым, д.м.н, профессором, руководителем НИИ молекулярной и клеточной медицины РУДН, заведующий кафедрой гистологии, цитологии и эмбриологии медицинского института РУДН и А.В. Лохониной, к.б.н., зам. директора НИИ молекулярной и клеточной медицины РУДН, доцентом кафедры гистологии, цитологии и эмбриологии медицинского института РУДН на предмет научной коллаборации.
По итогам встреч были установлены точки научного интереса, достигнута договоренность о сотрудничестве в области науки и запланировано подписание меморандума.
On July 26, 2023, on the eve of the second Russia-Africa Summit, the International Scientific Forum Russia-Africa: Dialogue of Young Scientists was held.
The forum was organized by the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Russian Center for Scientific Information. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The forum was attended by representatives from more than 40 African countries; more than 20 academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, heads of leading scientific institutions and organizations that are representatives of the Russian academic community.
Five thematic sessions were held at the RUDN University, one of which was «Medicine».

Within the framework of the forum, meetings were held with the director of MI RUDN University A.Yu. Abramov with Isaiah Nanna Iba, Professor of the University of Benin (Nigeria) and Chinwe Kristi Ishitya, Professor of the Department of Biology and Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Special Purposes of Nigeria, Admiralty University (Nigeria).
During the visit, the professors visited the Research Institute of Molecular and Cellular Medicine of the RUDN University. Negotiations were held with T.Kh. Fatkhudinov, MD, Professor, Head of the Research Institute of Molecular and Cellular Medicine of RUDN University, Head of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of the Medical Institute of RUDN University and A.V. Lokhonina, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Molecular and Cellular Medicine of RUDN University, Associate Professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of the Medical Institute of RUDN University for scientific collaboration.
As a result of the meetings, points of scientific interest were established, an agreement was reached on cooperation in the field of science, and a memorandum was planned to be signed.
