On August 30, the long-awaited meeting for the students of the «Translator» programme took place at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba. Teachers, answered all the questions of the first-year students concerning the schedule, organisation of the educational process, rules of academic honesty, as well as clarified questions related to receiving a scholarship and participation in various student activities.

The meeting was held in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The hall was full of applicants eager to get answers to all their questions. Students actively asked questions, demonstrating their interest in the beginning of the academic year and their desire for successful studies.
«We always welcome new students and try to make their adaptation to university life as comfortable as possible. That’s why we are open for dialogue and ready to answer all questions,» said Vladislav Boranenkov, the executive secretary of the «Translator» program.
The rector of the university, Oleg Yastrebov, also addressed the first-year students and wished them success in their studies and interesting years at the university.
«We are sure that you will have a bright and rich student life, full of new discoveries and acquaintances. RUDN is not just a university, but a big family, where you will find your friends, mentors and opportunities to realise your ambitions,» said the Rector.
At the end of the meeting, the students got answers to all their questions and will enter the new academic year with optimism.
