RUDN Institute of Medicine Students Present Innovative Research at «Traditions and Innovations» Congress

Students from the RUDN University Institute of Medicine took center stage at the prestigious Young Scientists Congress, «Traditions and Innovations in the System of Modern Russian Law», hosted by the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL).

Participating in the specialized «Biolaw Issues» section, representatives of the Institute of Medicine — Sofia Gavrich, Viktoria Toputnova, Natalia Lysenkova, and Eva Shil — presented comprehensive reports on the evolution of medical technologies within the Russian legal framework.

The students’ research highlighted several cutting-edge topics currently reshaping the industry:

• 3D Bioprinting: Legal challenges and technical prospects of bio-printed structures.

• Genetic Data: Regulations surrounding the storage and protection of genetic information.

• Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART): Modern trends and evolving legal standards.

• AI in Medicine: The practical application of artificial intelligence tools in clinical settings.

Beyond identifying challenges, the team from the Institute of Medicine proposed strategic pathways for fostering deeper collaboration between medical and legal sciences, aiming to create a more integrated regulatory environment for healthcare innovation.

The participants extend their sincere gratitude to their mentors and advisors: Nadezhda Ilina, Svetlana Guzeeva, Olga Kadilina, Maria Ruda, and Georgy Komissarov for their invaluable guidance.

Congratulations to our students on their successful defense and contribution to the future of biolaw!
